Our Story

From Jinan to the World

EastTreasures began with a simple frustration: the most meaningful objects of Chinese culture — a string of crystals, a carved piece of jade, a guardian for the home — were hard to find outside China, and what travelled abroad was often the cheap imitation.

We are based in Jinan, a city of springs and scholars, and we work directly with the workshops that made these things famous: crystal rough and carving in Donghai, jade in Guangzhou and Hetian, feng shui makers across the south. No middlemen, no mass production.

Every piece we ship carries its region, its maker and its meaning. That is the whole point.
